"Let us rise up and be thankful, for if we didn't learn a lot today, at least we learned a little, and if we didn't learn a little, at least we didn't get sick, and if we got sick, at least we didn't die; so, let us all be thankful." – Buddha
Gratitude means thankfulness for everything we get in life from others. Right from our birth to till now , Nature , known people like our parents ,friends, Teachers , collegues, spouse, children are helping , guiding , supporting us to lead a beautiful life . Even unknown people are supporting us indirectly to live a comfort life. We are blessed to have that support in our life. One of the most important feelings we must have is “feeling gifted for the blessings we have in life”. But in reality most of us seldom feel and express gratitude as we taken them as granted.
Most of the time, we crib with the problems rather than counting on our blessings. Be aware of the blessings, feel gifted and express the gratitude and you get all the resources to manage your Problems.
Personally we can experience many benefits of being thankfulness .It shifts our focus from complaining or blaming of not getting few things to count our blessings for getting so many things. It brings humbleness within us and also inspires us to do great things in life as a token of giving back to others.Nowadays lots of researches are being conducted to find the correlation of success, happiness and wellbeing with attitude of gratitude. One such a study reveals that quality of life was improved for the group of people who practiced the attitude of gratitude than those did not.
Practicing the attitude of gratitude on a daily basis is simple and easy. While starting a day, let spend a few minutes to recollect all the good things we have got in life and feel thankfulness .Also whenever we receive any kind of help from others, express them with heart fully and say “Thank you “with meaning. This gesture makes happy both receiver and giver.
Hence develop the attitude of gratitude and you attract good things in your life .
